The Maag cinox®-V and therminox®-V have been designed for highly viscous fluids which are gently extracted from reactors and de-gassing devices even when the inlet pressure is low. Even at vacuum, ensuring optimum fill characteristics and short dwell times. The pump is suited for applications in the food, textile, paint, hotmelt, adhesives and pigments, and polymer industry.
This extremely accurate and durable new pump series combines the outstanding flow characteristics (low pulsation) of the Maag polymer pumps with the exacting requirements of the chemical industry. Spandex and dope are typical products that can be pumped effortlessly with the new cinox®-V.
Both the cinox®-V and the heatable therminox®-V have a special inlet designed for medium to highly viscous media. This design ensures a continuous flow and constant filling of the gear at low pressure. There is a choice of two models; the distance between the reactor and pump is short or extra short. Model 2 with the extra short distance between reactor and pump is the optimal solution for applications with extremely low NPSH conditions.
The cinox®-V or therminox®-V are available in various sizes. Laboratory-scale solutions are also realizable. Thanks to the extensive offer components and construction material, Maag pumps can be configured to suit customers’ specific requirements. For instance electric heating and heatable bearings are optionally available.
