Hex Valve, a division of Richards Industries from the USA, has renewed and improved its instrumentation valve program. Improvements include the design of the valve body, resulting in weight reduction as the new design requires less material.
Some dimensions and the packing seals have been changed to meet common European standards.
The program includes:
– Needle valves.
– Block & Bleed valves, with or without an instrument connection, e.g for a manometer.
– Complex valve manifolds with 2, 3 or 5 valves and connections.
Specifications:
Materials : SS 316, Monel, Hastelloy C
Connections : ¼`, ½` NPT male or female threaded, flanges
Seals : TFE or graphite packing
Rating : 6000 psi at 450 °F (414 bar at 232 °C)
Hex Valve products are applied a.o. in the extraction of oil and gas, in refineries and in power generation. Such applications put severe demands on the equipment.
