On the 21st June 2012 we assembled pump with serial number 100.000 in Packo”s industrial pump department. The total number of Packo pumps is now around 300.000, since there were also approximately 200.000 milk pumps constructed.
The first industrial pump was built in 1978. Meanwhile, the pump range extended to 110 kW and till 1100 m³/h.
All Packo pumps are in stainless steel. They are not just for drinks, but for the most varied applications: from fabric paint to ultra pure water for the medical sector, frying oil at 200 °C to liquid nitrogen at -196 °C.
The pump with serial number 100.000 is a VDKK (potato pump) for the company Kiremko (the Netherlands).
50 people are employed in the Packo pump department in Diksmuide. The distributor network covers all continents.
