Due to its various good properties, fluoroplastics are applicable in various industries and can be used in many critical applications. It can be used in medical applications, if certified according to USP Class VI.

For example, our FEP heat shrink tubing is used in dental equipment; more specifically for the equipment in placing dental crowns.
After root canal treatment, it is necessary to fill the tooth properly in order to achieve a well and firm dental crown. The less the internal tooth structure is removed, the better.

Our FEP heat shrink tubing is used in an unique concept that has been developed in order to place the replacement micro glass fibers (Ø 0,3mm).
After production of the micro fibers, they are bundled into 4, 6, 9 or 12 pieces and held together at the top by means of the FEP heat shrink tubing. The shrink tube is placed over the top of the bundle and then shrunk by means of heating. For identification, the heat shrink tubing has different colors.
