Smallest 110-315 kW drives
Available in the power / voltage range 110 – 315 kW / 380-480 V, the frequency converter provides precise control of induction motors in IP20, IP21 and IP54 enclosures.
Save installation space
The new D frame versions of the VLT Refrigeration Drives are up to 68% smaller than the previous versions. Small sizes enable system designers and plant owners to maximize their use of panel or wall space and reduce system costs, in addition to the energy saving advantages that are the result of VLT control.
Innovative thermal management
The high efficiency of the drive, above 98%, is one of main reasons for the drive’s low energy consumption, and heat losses that need to be directed away from the internals of the drive.
This is handled by Danfoss’ innovative back channel cooling concept that directs up to 90% of the heat generated by the drive directly outside the switch room. One of the main advantages of this approach is that additional cooling systems can either be smaller, or in some instances eliminated completely, to reduce project costs further.
