GEA Heat Exchangers will be renamed Kelvion from now on ( November 9th, 2015) GEA A.G. sold its heat exchanger division to the Triton Investment Group in 2014 because it wanted to focus more on innovations in the foodstuffs industry. This meant that making heat exchangers no longer fitted in with the German company’s core business.
The takeover of the ‘Heat Exchangers’ division and the change of name ensure a clear independent position in the market, which complements the focus of the company and the wide range of industrial heat exchangers. Core values such as innovation, quality and service continue to be the essence of the brand. Kapp Nederland, the exclusive representative of GEA heat exchangers in the Benelux, views the future with confidence.
“GEA Heat Exchangers has always been a strong brand name, but we are convinced that the new name Kelvion will quickly become well known in the sector”, says Tjark de Lange, Managing Director of Kapp Nederland. “What is most important is for the business to continue to operate on all levels and to be optimised where possible. This means that in the future we will be able to benefit increasingly from this leading player’s developments in the field of heat transfer.”
