Together with Tedima GmbH, manufacturer of technical seal solutions for complex shaft seals, with over 30 years of experience, Kelstream introduces a completely new and tailor-made optimal control- and cleanable seal for its equipment. Key points were are hygiene, dead-space free towards product, sterilizable, low OPEX , service- and maintenance friendly and a high-end innovation.
From now on, the Kelstream SSHE units are equipped with an innovative hygienic lip sealing system. The seal can be cleaned during the CIP cycle. This excludes a micro-biological composition of residual product.
The seal is also provided with a leak detection, which checks the operation of the seal by means of a simple compressed air signal. The applied seals are FDA and EG1935/2004 certified. Of course the seal itself is entirely constructed in accordance with EHEDG guidelines.
