Technicians in training and students of Goflex and Vakwijs (part of the GoFlex Group) will soon be able to gain experience with the modern and high-end pressure transducers and radar level meters from VEGA. The supplier of the well-known yellow measuring equipment is donating a number of sensors from the new 2020 line to better prepare aspiring process technicians for the future.
The sensors will be built into a number of skids at the educational institutions, but in addition the measuring instruments will be built into a demo set-up to be used at open days. According to Michael Elsenbach, advisor at Goflex and Vakwijs, the new sensors will also play a role in the recruitment of students: “The fact that you can use a sensor with your smartphone really appeals to the imagination of young people these days, we know from experience.”
