Ebora Process Automation has made a development in collaboration with Festo for a pneumatic multipole connector plate. It has been specifically developed for use in hygienic environments. The functionality of the VTUG valve terminal and Pneumapole in combination made it into a worthy successor for the CPV valve islands with multipole connector plate.
The biggest advantage is that it covers the cut out in the control cabinet. Consequently
the cut out is protected against corrosion and no blind spots appear at the connector plate. Possible dirt is visible on the outside.
Another advantage is that you do not need extra space in the cabinet to mount it, because the valve terminal is installed by sliding it in from the outside.
Furthermore the panel builder only needs to connect the electrical parts, while he can leave the pneumatic knowledge to a colleague in the field.
The multipole connector plate is made of stainless steel 304 with a roughness of
<0.8um. It has a blue silicone seal to the cabinet which makes it entirely waterproof and as hygienic as possible.
